Privacy Notice

Liike Digital Oy, Business ID 3612672-1 ("Liike Digital", "we", "us"), is the controller of personal data processed for the Liike Digital website, customer relationships and services, except where a third party acts as an independent controller for its own service. This notice is intended to meet applicable requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Finnish data protection law.

2. Personal data we process

Depending on how you use the website and services, we may process name and contact details; customer-account information; billing and order details; company and professional information; purchased products and access entitlements; support communications; marketing preferences and consent records; website URLs, business data or files submitted for analysis; technical information such as IP address, browser, device and security logs; and usage information needed to operate and improve the service.

Payment-card credentials are processed by payment providers and are not normally stored by Liike Digital.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • To create and manage customer accounts, orders and access rights and perform contracts.
  • To process purchases, deliver digital products and provide support.
  • To perform requested audits, analyses, consulting or automation services.
  • To meet accounting, tax, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.
  • To protect the website, prevent fraud, maintain security and establish or defend legal claims based on legitimate interests and legal obligations.
  • To improve services where compatible with applicable law.
  • To send marketing where you have consented or another lawful basis applies. You may opt out at any time.

4. Service providers and recipients

Depending on the service used, recipients may include Shopify and its payment services, ecommerce/access-control applications such as Locksmith, email-delivery providers, cloud and hosting providers, analytics/security providers and, for AI-enabled services, technology providers used to perform the requested analysis. Providers receive only data reasonably necessary for their role and are subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to professional advisers, or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside Finland or the European Economic Area. Where required, we use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide the customer relationship and services, comply with accounting, tax and other legal retention obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn or the data is no longer needed for the marketing purpose, subject to any necessary suppression record.

7. Customer accounts and Learning access

Order and account information is used to determine whether a customer has valid access to restricted Liike Learning content and to maintain the applicable access period. Access decisions may be performed automatically from purchase and account data, but they are operational entitlement decisions and do not produce legal or similarly significant effects.

8. AI-enabled services

If you submit a website, business information, text, file or other input for an AI-enabled service, we process that input to provide the requested analysis or output. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal data. Where third-party AI or infrastructure providers are used, data sharing is limited to what is reasonably required to deliver the service.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, customer accounts, checkout, preferences, analytics and marketing. Where consent is legally required for non-essential technologies, those technologies should be used in accordance with the consent choices presented to you.

10. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority. In Finland, the supervisory authority is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, secure service providers and appropriate account and payment security. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

12. External websites

Our website may link to YouTube and other third-party websites. When you leave the Liike Digital website, the third party's own privacy policy and terms apply to its processing.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Notice where our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will be published on the website.
